    Cadac Safari Chef Grill

I've been interested in this grill for the last couple years but have never got an answer to my question. Maybe some of you are thinking along this line... As opposed to using the disposable propane canisters, can an adapter to the gas inlet be used and a regular refillable propane tank (Lite...

    '03 Tacoma Build

I'm thinking but it's just making my brain hurt. Something in between the 2 carriers now, that mounts to the hitch?

    Triple Aught Design

I've adjusted to the fit, you just can't carry anything on your belt, in or out of your pants, with any weight on it; otherwise gravity takes over... kind of looks like Chris Farley, the motivational speaker, down by the river if you know what I mean.

Land Rover Rear Door Cooker Housing

That is pretty cool item; looks stout too. Solves 2 issues at once - storage and application. Slick.

Blundstone boots now made in Thailand? Quality?

That sucks - I'm really sorry to hear that.

    100,000 miles

Same experience. I took my Tacoma in for the frame treatment before the SAC. They told me don't do it now - come back after the SAC so we can treat the frame after you've done your modifications. They didn't care what I had done to the truck and I have a factory extension on my frame life...

Second Generation Toyota Tacoma 2.5" Lift - Seatle, WA

That's a really good deal on a great suspension package with low miles! When I did the the SAC I sold mine with more miles to a friend who is enjoying them on his Tacoma now. Very reliable components.

Looks really good. You definitely nailed the stealth approach. Not many would ever detect that you've made the changes you have unless they had some knowledge of off-roading.

Upcountry's 07' Tacoma - Weekend Warrior Build - Work In Progress

About a 1/2 to 1 inch clearance is good. You're close. Mine was too tight at the wings and rubbed at the fender. I've since reinforced my frame horns, removing the bumper, and set it at about an inch. The winch is a pain... and worse still all by your lonesome. You'll have to loosen the...

Upcountry's 07' Tacoma - Weekend Warrior Build - Work In Progress

Whew! That was a lot of work - looks good. Just a couple things which may already be resolved. I noticed your winch clutch handle was facing the rear of the bumper which when mounted on the truck will make it difficult to access. The housing looks like it can be removed so that you can...

ARB 45q fridge: tempetrure question. Is it accurate?

I advise calling ARBUSA before doing anything. They have excellent customer service and it might be something really simple that you might have missed and if it is hosed up they'll take care of you. I have the same model for 2 years now and keep it in my truck 24/7 except for the winter...

What ONE piece of recovery gear will you never leave home without?

That was helpful, but your final point is really befuddling... ...after you've expired and "once I'm buried," what would you need a hoe for? Odd. But you've made your point on the value of hoes - indispensable on the trail! Everyone should have a hoe.

What ONE piece of recovery gear will you never leave home without?

I see you have a couple off-road vehicles. How many hoes do you have? Do you always travel with your hoes? Where do you mount your hoes? If you always travel with a hoe, does that you mean you keep a hoe handy for your use around the house, too; you know - a household-hoe? Thanks...

What ONE piece of recovery gear will you never leave home without?

No argument about your points in this post but one. A winch can be limited to forward pulls only if lacking the appropriate equipment. Winches are perfectly capable of pulling forwards, up or down, sideways, or backwards when also supplied with snatch-blocks, shackles, and strapping materials...
