It's finally started. Jamin switched to aluminum cabinets, so getting them worked out has been a process. Now that they're working on it full time, it should only be a couple more weeks. As long as those cabinets are ready....

It should be starting soon. Jamin said it would start in July and he’ll send me pics of the build along the way. I’ll post them when I get them.

Thanks for sharing. I have a deposit down on the first mid-size and I'll definitely add this to my list of things to chat with Jamin about. I get that no trailer is going to be perfect, but I'd also like to do what I can to ensure that the big stuff is squared away as much as possible.

He's updated the website with specs and some drawings. Mine will have a Stargazer window on the front as well.

I've been talking to Jamin at Kingdom Camping for a few months now about his mid-size build plans and we finally put a deposit down on one earlier this week. The estimated completion date is August. I don't believe he has the specs up on his website yet but I'll put the general stuff below...

I believe so, but about a foot and a half longer. Mine will have a short queen going East/West. I believe the X145 has a full.

The bathroom will be smaller and the bed will be East/West instead of North/South.

Not yet. Jamin says it’s going to be just like the XL, but 6 ft shorter.

Fully loaded it’s 85k. I opted to remove a solar panel and a battery to get the price down a bit.

Yeah, that's how we're planning to use it. I might do longer trips of a couple months during the summer, but for now it will mostly be for long weekends and trips up to a couple weeks during the holidays.

I think he's gaining more interest in his campers overall since he's been posting a bit on social media. But I think a lot of people are nervous about dropping that kind of cash on a camper before the specs have even been fully worked out. That was one of my wife's concerns. I'd be a lot more...

Thanks for the reply and great points. My truck is a 23 Tundra iForce max and that's another big factor. I'd like to keep the dry weight in the 5k range so I'm still good when I add water, food, gear, etc. Great question about the insulation. That's not necessary for us as we don't plan for...
