    In-dash nav on a budget?

No help, but DO NOT buy a Boss unit! The 80 I bought came with Boss double DIN touch screen but no nav... reading on line, tons of problems with the units. If you fall in love with Boss, buy local with a easy return policy! Not a hater, just what I have learned.....

The XV-JP Needs Help, Please, from a Jeep Aerodynamicist. (Really)

"I also saw that it's easy to buy an inflatable boot meant to go between the camper and the pickup cab's rear window. They're pretty small, but so is the Jeep's space, so that might be a very simple solution." Be very careful, I read where these scrape the paint off the truck and camper very...

very nice, mine has 195k and no problems.... well accept the frame is being replaced in the next two weeks. Mine was undercoated too and looked great. The dealer was SHOCKED when a hammer went through the frame with little effort. I am very glad Mr. T is replacing my frame, I really didn't want...

    ExPo 80 Series Registry

Thanks, my daughter named it on the test drive, or as she saw it, the drive with the previous owner since there was no doubt we were buying it.... I didn't bother to explain there was already a Turtle truck - http://turtleexpedition.com/vehicles/turtle-i-2/ - and I had followed them in magazines...

When do you learn to trust a new to you truck?

I just turned 3,000 miles (planning the oil change and tire rotation) and still not a hiccup, so I will trust the truck, even with it's head gasket and old PHH. Thanks! Not the best picture of it, but through the Pisgah Covered Bridge.

Glad to see someone else driving the stock HG and PPH.... I will sleep better now! Great trip and both trucks look great. Is the Jeep really that much bigger?

    What do I do?

My .02 cents are not worth 2 cents, but now that you are out of the rust belt and the truck is not some super cool/rare beast. I think you should move on. I agree, a used truck with a higher % might be equal to a new truck with lower %. A new engine will out last everything on your current...

Going to look at this one tomorrow

I think part of the difference in price is location. In the NE, a rust free-ish 4x4 with less than 100k demands a premium, since moving from NY to NC, I have to remind myself to stop looking at all the rust free trucks.... they all are! I have not found one bolt on the '93 Land Cruiser I bought...

Tall People Sleeping in Short Bed Pickup Trucks!

I have the DAC for my DC Taco, the one thing I have fought with it is in rain. The top sits on the rear cap glass and like all the tents I have every owned, when you touch the inside of the tent it pulls water through. I have used the cheap tarp over the top, a $20 Dicks sporting goods tail gate...
