They did the same exact thing in 2007...Mercedes diesel only available in a Limited or Overland...when it did not sale...in 2008 they put the diesel in the Laredo...which is the model I got.

And if people are willing to finance a $45,000 fully loaded Rubicon...why not a $50,000 Rubicon diesel....People are spending $60,000+ on AEV JKUs.....

I enjoy my 2012 ML350 BlueTec which has the same chassis as the WK2.....700+ miles is pushing it I am thinking...reality is probably more like 650 miles.....I see 28-29 hwy in the ML350.
