Good (re) use of old hose. What size is the hose?
Some venues that needed lock down security (from active shooters) would use 2" lined hose in very short 3" pieces to slip around door closer arms. The lining gripped the arms and was used to keep the closer arm from opening, making the door...
I should start a "where is Waldo" type of thread with ATC gear. Over the Christmas vacation, we took 6 teenagers snowboarding. Did not take the jeep though, took the wife's FX4 Expedition. I grabbed a tire repair kit (an ATC zipper pouch) and the same recovery bag from the Jeep and put in with...
I had not noticed the price hike, pretty steep one. Personally, Defiance actions are a deal, or at least were a deal. LOL. There actions are machined after hardening to maintain stability and tolerance. That is a "value added" chore in itself.
I am a newbie in the precision rifle world. Love...
I was really liking the Defiance actions too. Maybe Bob can keep a good thing going. Hope he keeps the Sport side of his expertise in the company. I have a short Deviant action in 6mm Creedmoor that Is my favorite.

One of the give and takes of 20p is the fps. 3900-4000. Definitely "broke in" by by 800 rds. I have 300rds through the Krieger barrel now and the node is stablized.
While you are heating, keep in mind that it is not the amount of heat that solves the problem. It is the delta betwenn the two parts. Heat the outer and cool the inner. Heat expands, cold shrinks. the action can free close tolerance parts as well as rusted parts by breaking the bond. Keep a few...
I run the power tank "monster valves" on my crawler, makes quick work of tire fills. Only had one problem with one valve so far, I did not close off the valve on one air down and tire leaked to flat in about a minute. My fault really, did not hear the hiss.
I would say all the above is true. The hard part is the volume and cfm balance. I run a 2cfm viair and a 2gl tank that I can isolate. The difference between airing up four 35"s from 10 to 30psi is about 25 seconds when bypassing tank. However, I will always run a tank. I have shutoff/isolater...
