    Adventure Trailer From Vanagon Chop

Unless you are putting everything in totes, bed liner can be rough on gear like tents, duffle bags etc.

What type of plywood for trailer build?

I stand corrected. I see 1 distributor is offering 5x5 only with interior glue and manufacturers offering all sizes speced for interior or exterior. No doubt to conform to CARB and EPA TSCA Title VI emissions standards regulations. Times keep changing. So bottom line is make sure you are...

What type of plywood for trailer build?

I took some (poor) edge shots of 1/8" & 1/4" Baltic birch and 1/4" box store underlayment (last image). Notice the 1/4" BB has 5 layers where the 1/4" underlayment has 3. Decent writeup here- https://kingsfinewoodworking.com/blogs/news/baltic-birch-plywood-what-is-it-why-is-it-better#:~:text=It...

    Looking for RTT opinions

Don't skimp on tarps. The HF type are heavy, bulky and a bit of a pain to fold up. I use 12'x12' & 16'x16' Kelty tarps. Between weight saved, ease of use and small storage area needed the xtra $$ is well worth it.

    Looking for RTT opinions

I thought long and hard about a RTT 5 yrs ago. Setting up a soft top RTT everyday when you are road tripping will get old real fast as will the ladder. As long as you plan to sleep in the truck bed at times, that may be the best way to sleep most of the time. Get a fast set ground tent for bad...

    Prevolander 93 Bronco

You should pull your valve covers and make sure your oil return holes are not clogged before you take a long highway trip. I found this to be a common problem on higher mileage ford 302 & 351 engines that led to the failure of many engines last century while I was a mechanic. At low rpms enough...

Prebuilt Campers for a Cab and Chassis?

You could build your own "box" https://trailtopcampers.com/trailtop-system/ The inventor has a thread on his development and multiple builds on a smaller scale here: https://expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/trailtop-modular-trailer-topper-building-components.121184/
