Hey, So maybe a dumb question but I will ask anyway.
Are those two holes on the transmission to the left of the shift lever in the 2nd to last photo for mounting a shift lever to?
So it sounds like a 285/75/16 (3700 lbs capacity per tire) thats only an inch taller in that same tire with the 3.73, would be about the same as a 265/75/16 (3400 lbs capacity per tire) with the 3.55s. Maybe?
Thanks for your input!
If you were to swap in some newer dana 60 axles from a 99-04 would you suggest going with the stock 3.73 gearing as a good middle ground between the two?
Edit: I forgot to ask what tire size your running. So what tire size are you running?
You could always just pull that special spacer bracket and buy the stock size linkage (http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/4c3z7b051fa) that should work without any issues but those lines may need to be moved. I don't have those lines on mine, I don't think.
That picture of the transfer case linkage looks like its in 2wd but its hard to tell with a photo. It doesn't have to move very far to go from one to the other.
I know, it may be the dumbest thing I've done in a while but if my van doesn't sell than at least someone on here would have gotten a sweet van. I am a little bummed the v10 is on hold for the next two weeks but I am up next if it falls through :).
So how do you like the ride now compared to before? What's the most noticeable change?
Just to clarify you did the 4" full suspension system correct?
Also, how tall is your van? Like roof height!
Love seeing what your doing. I think it's awesome you did all your motor work yourself.

Nope it's not difficult, just don't half *** it or you'll definitely wish you would have paid someone. Since this was my first time I did it in stages. Day 1 was inner structure removal, day 2 was cutting the hole. Just made it a little easier on me mentally to come back fresh to cut the hole.
Nope, I am still selling if someone wants to buy it, but I haven't had any inquires yet so I am going to continue to build it to my needs. I guess I am just hoping someone else likes the upgrades so much they will want to buy it ha ha.
