1964 Land Rover Defender 110 NEW Hi-Cap Pickup

Run away. Far away. Most likely a newer Defender re-titled as a 1964 to get it into the States. If you buy and get pulled over by someone who really knows what they are doing, they will impound it and you will see your $58K thrown into a crusher. Or, get into an accident and get an...

    Aftermarket AC options?

What are some aftermarket AC options out there? Is there a slim version of the RV roof AC? Are there engine bay mounted options? Key here is aftermarket as AC was not an option for this specific production year, nor will it be possible to fabricate a mounting bracket to add it to the engine...

Should I buy a Range Rover?

On a side note: superpowerdave's wife can drive better than most guys can. I see nothing wrong with Dave's post or any other post in this thread.

    Defender 110 with 300Tdi/R380

Admittedly, I am not an expert on this but I do believe you need to make sure your fuel lines are top notch as (from what I learned in my search) the WVO/biodiesel can cause them to leak or rupture. Plus you will need to explore options to heat the WVO/biodiesel prior to pumping it to the engine.

Should I buy a Range Rover?

A friend has one (1995 LWB) with less than 65K original miles on it. He wants $5500 for it. Bone stock. It is located about an hour east of SF (CA).

    Pictures on the job

Prohibited by privacy laws to take photos but just imagine the show "Intervention" going on everyday, all day. I'm the guy that oversees it ALL, including the MD's, nurses, MA's, psychologist's, social workers, therapists, case managers, dietitians, billing, accounting. No day is ever the same!

Should I buy a Range Rover?

Exactly. I have EVERY receipt imaginable from the two PO before me for my 94 RRC LWB, including the original dealer invoice paperwork when it was sold new for $48K in 1994. http://expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11196

Should I buy a Range Rover?

So much drivel... Run while you can. Get away before LUCAS sinks his dark claws into you. But if you insist on being a glutton for punishment and pleasure all at the same time... mercedesrover is right on the money when he recommends a DI is a good place to start. 94 - 95 DI's have the 3.9...

    Thinned the heard...

Sorry. I know the feeling. I shed a tear the last time my ol' rover drove off. I knew she would be parted out. Sometimes I find joy in the fact that she lives on in other rovers. Sheez... I need a life!:costumed-smiley-007

'69 Land Rover Series III (Diesel) for sale

There was a video floating around - I think it was here on ExPo - where it did a great job explaining why they tend to rust so badly. Some of it had to do with the availability of steel after WWII and some of it had to do with saving a minuscule amount of weight off of an already heavy vehicle...

'69 Land Rover Series III (Diesel) for sale

That would be my guess. It would also lend support to your previous comment about the 2.5 diesel. I am always leary of "frankenrovers" unless you built it yourself with no plans on selling it.
