I love my 1kz. Great mileage and power.

This would be a killer rig with a 1KZ-TE in it.

I work in the tire supply business and everyone has been informed by the manufactures. Even my retread shops are buying up rubber and our patch prices are going up.

I would buy in May since tire prices are going up June. By 5% to 10% depends on manufacture.

265's do to massive amounts of choices and it sounds like you don't need an E rated tire and most will be an E in the 235. Also they should be a lot cheaper....

If you keep the 17's then look at the nitto terra grappler or dura grappler in the 285/75/17 size. I run it on my diesel 4runner and I love the tire size and the nitto. It is great in all types of terrain.
