I have found if I try to use the turbo function on my Waeco 50 it throws a fit using a standard rear socket. But if I just let it cool down regularly it does just fine.
1. Porta potty and pop up shower tent
2. Chuckbox
3. Coffee grinder and percolator
4. Fridge
5. Bunk bed cots
6. External battery to run the fridge.
7. Actually I could probably keep going... This definitely isn't backpack camping :)
My daughter hugged me after getting the porta potty. Never...
I would definitely like to see pictures of the raised chair. It is just a tad too short. I think this is a great chair but it isn't a long term comfort chair if you know what I mean. There are many other chairs that are more comfortable but none that pack this small or this light.

Sorry for the jumbled up picture posting. It is a little hard to post photos for me on my phone.
I had read someone else who suggested these feet on another forum I believe but didn't see any pictures. Helinox sells some now but they are $30 for a set of 4 feet. Too steep for me. Got the ones...
I just tried to do a little research and it looks kind of vague. http://m.rei.com/help/guarantee.html
There is a limited warranty but it says manufacturing defects. I don't think my bent poles would fall into that category. I will ask next time I am in the store.
I ended up getting 2 silicone collapsing tubs so I could do dishes. I liked the ones made by Companion in Australia but couldn't find a retailer here in the states so I went with another company. The metal pan seems like a good idea but for simplicity I will probably stick with the 2 tubs. I do...
We have the kingdom 8 with the the garage. And when I saw we it is myself and my 2 young kids. All 3 of us are on cots. I really like it but have already bent one pole. REI replaced it but now with REI only having a one year return policy I am worried it will happen again next season and we will...
Thank you for the reply. The zipwall poles are used for putting up plastic sheeting to contain dust during construction in a building. My concern with them is the spring loaded head on them. I am worried that the spring might in the wind might make the pole collapse.
My idea behind the tarp...
I have an REI gift card and was thinking of picking up the Kelty Noah's tarp 16. I have a couple zipwall poles and was wondering if anyone has successfully used them for car camping? I plan on getting better poles in the future but just wanted to see if anyone has had any success with them. BTW...
Thank you. I finally got a response from a nice cs person.
For some reason their computer didn't register my full address.
So it got shipped but UPS didn't have the full address. I took a screenshot of my order
And it shows the correct address so there is a glitch on their end.
UPS is...

Ok I am joining a few of you. I placed my order a couple days ago.
I haven't gotten a confirmation email yet but rather just an email with a link to their forum.
I tried to call their number but just got a recording. (The site says they are open unto 4:00pm)
Any idea how long it...
Hey. This is my first post on Expeditionportal. Been lurking and reading for awhile I really enjoyed reading along your trip. My first big trip was back in 2005 on a motorcycle trip that was just over 5,000 miles. Bike is gone and I miss it.
Looking forward to my next trip. (Now with 2 little...
