Great Idea though... I'm trying to figure out the layout of what's going on the roof & this would make my life a whole lot easier as there's only so much room. Now, if I could only figure out how to justify the cost???
Yea, he was a Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastiff) & weighed right around 120lbs. The funniest thing is he thought he was a lap-dog and would always try to get up on your lap.
Hello Theshwed,
I'm in the same boat... In October I had the CCV high top installed on my 2011 EB E350 and am now playing around with laying out the interior. There has been some discussion on CAD programs on the Sportsmobile forum recently and this guys web-site is pretty informative...
One of the main reasons I went with CCV's top is I'm 6'-5" and their bed is long enough to accommodate me. One of my concerns about the lower bed or gaucho type bed is they seem to be limited to 6' in length. I could make some sort of padded platform that I could put at the end of the bed to...
I hope I haven't missed it, but I've done a bit of searching this forum and haven't found what I'm looking for...

I got inspired by this thread to break out the Dutch Oven I keep at our place in Baja. It was a fairly nice/calm evening last night so I decided to make a batch of Santa Fe Soup over the fire. Anything cooked outdoors, and especially with the Sea of Cortez in the background tastes sooo good.
Man... I'm so giving this stuff a try!!! Feel like I'm a little (or maybe, a lot) behind on this. Heading to Baja for a couple of weeks and looking for something new to cook over the campfire.
Wow!!! What a great looking trip... We've have a place in Baja, about 25 miles south of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez side, for about 25 years. The problem is we always seem to just go there and don't travel/explore much further. Something I want to change. I see that it's mostly jeeps...
I did BBQ competitions for a while and used to haul at least one of my smokers with me when we went camping. It sure draws a crowd once that smoke starts to get around the campground. Now days, I just cook for the family on my Traeger and have gotten rid of most of my other equipment.
I have...
Same here, the Dual GPS puck works great. The only issue I've got is the rubber housing pad that it sets in on your dash stretched out a bit, possibly from heat due to setting in the sun. Also, once it gets a little dusty/dirty on the bottom side it doesn't stay in place as well as it used to...
Lov'in my new penthouse top from Colorado Camper Van. The guys at CCV did a great job. Everything was finished very cleanly and worked perfectly.
Being 6'-5" tall, I went with the high top. I love the added head room (I can actually sit up in bed) and longer bed length (7'). I also love that...
