    The best adventure travel boots.

This happened to mine, had em for 12 years and the outsoles were done and peeling off. Just bought a pair of Danner Mountain Light II, liking them so far but havent really had them on a longer hike, just trying to get them broken in

Should be fine. Those fins don't have any fluid running through them. Theoretically a damaged fin won't cool as well but in a radiator that big there isn't a chance you would ever notice it. I wouldn't be worried in the least

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

It doesn't start rough, just runs rough. The code that has been there awhile is emissions related but I didn't think to check after this happened. I have a scangauge so it would have only taken me a few seconds, and now I am away from it for a few days

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Going to the in laws this upcoming weekend to check out the steering issues. I also had a couple of rough starts where are idle there was a lot of cavitation and the "service engine soon" light started flashing. This light has been on and off for a year or so. I pulled over both times and...

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

I'll give it a shot. It's not a mechanical grinding and perhaps grinding isn't the right word to describe it. I haven't had a chance to really look under it and I am away this week for work

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Having some weird noises up front, especially when cold. I get a grinding noise almost when turning ( mostly when close to lock or tight corners ) Does seem to go away as it warms up. No loss in steering power but I can feel vibrations (small) in the steering wheel when I hear the noise. Any...

Danner Mountain Light II - An on-going review

Decided to spend a little time cleaning them tonight. The dressing is supposed to help with break in as well. The pictures make it look wetter than it is.

Danner Mountain Light II - An on-going review

So I have had the boots over a week now and have worn them at least every day. They are starting to break in a little. These boots did not come with an insole, just with Danner's airthotic insole which is a plastic heel cup and mild arch support. I wanted to try some proper insoles and...
