Fun question: What other 4x4 would you replace your current Nissan with and why?

The relationship of "real trucks" to bro-dozers is inversely proportional to the size of the city you live in, I.E more people less practical and useful trucks which is also equivalent to more people, more douches

And yet only slightly taller than most of the bro-dozers running around

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Agreed, as much as I would likely never own a Land Rover doesn't mean I can't look :sombrero:

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

215/85s look good on the XJ because it's so skinny and boxy, anything newer and they look too skinny on. Some of the earlier land rovers look good with them as well

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Yup! There is some mud on the shoulder lugs making them appear a little skinnier

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Thank you! Good read Interesting they list the front suspension of the Xterra incorrectly, says upper/lower control arms, coil springs

    Mortonm's 2001 Xterra Build

Couple pictures from my brothers build thread showing his new tires in the fall. Shows the difference between 215/85R16 and 235/85R16 2000 XJ with 2" OME lift with 215/85R16 motomaster at2 tires (made by cooper) 2001 Xterra with 1" lift and 235/85R16 BFG AT tires

Fun question: What other 4x4 would you replace your current Nissan with and why?

I agree, not that I am that old (30 this year) but nothing wrong with being comfortable. I just bought a therm a rest neoair dream pad last year, expensive but so comfortable hard to beat a good nights sleep. I would just add some 285 75R117 tires on stock rims and call it a day for the power...

Fun question: What other 4x4 would you replace your current Nissan with and why?

I would rock a power wagon hard, especially with a FWC, just so big, for both the city and the forests here

    Purchased an Expedition G Wagen

David livingstone was a British explorer and scientist/doctor who spent a large portion of his adult life wandering around Africa. Likely a pun there somewhere with Livingstone and its being your "living home" when out and about Or if you want to keep more American, Lewis and Clark?

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

No different than having a couple bikes on a hitch rack, actually better clearance than that out back. Pathfinders and Xterras/Frontiers should have come with that extra capacity from the factory. I have 75 L now and I would love to have closer to 100 L (26/27 gal)

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

Those are 5 gal each? Looks like a pretty slick way to carry the fuel. If you get stuck or it's affecting your departure angle it can come off in a matter of seconds.

For those considering 255/85/16s...ST/MAXX is coming soon

They do look great! What do they measure out to when mounted and on the truck?

    WreckDiver1321's 2003 Frontier CC SC

Definiately achievable, fully loaded I get about the same on the highway. Might as well do em all while the thing is torn apart
