I have nothing but good things to say about my BFG AT (in 235/85R16) after 30,000+ miles.
I haven't had to use my spare yet, so I will likely replace with the same tires ( will only have to buy 3 new tires )
If I weren't influenced by that I would be trying the Cooper ST Maxx, heard a lot f...
This is what I use, all stored into a Pelican Case, it isnt fancy but does the job.
Not pictured is my Coleman 2 burner stove, as well the plates and cutting board that goes in on top of what you see inside.
awesome, surprised that this wasn't more popular, sort of a backup in case the auto action fails (pretty common when going hard with big tires on our frontiers/Xterras)
I guess more expensive as well
Take a look at Hercules Tire as well
They have a lot of LT offereings, all made by Cooper.
They are generally a little cheaper
WreckDiver1321 has a pair of the terratrac DT on his frontier and seems to like them
The Terratrac AT2 as well as the Terratrac R/S look nice also
I have had my BFG ATs for over two years now (30,000+miles).
We get a decent amount of snow here, and in the thicker deeper stuff, they do awesome, its when you get an inch or less and its slicky/icy tarmac that they can struggle a little
Interesting, sort of a hybrid hub locking system.
You don't have to wait for mods, I am sure a lot of us would love to see more stock pictures, inside and out, as it is a vehicle we cannot get off the showroom floor in North America.
