There is also the risk of you trying to stop the alleged killer, and being mistaken by someone else as part of the problem, therefore getting shot at yourself.
I think the biggest thing people need to keep in mind is that while several people died...and of course it is tragic, it happens...
+1 on the bucket with soap/water and drive.
You can also lay clothes out in the sun, the UV rays do a pretty decent job of killing the funk if you are short on water.
Another one in sd, same price, off a dodge dakota 81" long 65" wide...or you can get it with the truck for 8 or 9 grand.

Seems different years have different fans, pros/cons etc.
I believe, though have only recently begun searching so I could be off on the following:
1995-2005 are the "extended" model
Believe the 1997-2005 models all have the 190HP
1999-2005 has the "on demand" AWD
2003-2005 has Disc Brakes...
Ah, that makes sense, I was gonna ask since where it says tiger it looked just like a gt. Shame they stopped making those, pretty cool vehicles...though people seem to still enjoy the newer ones with the truck chasis.
Awesome, good to know....not surprised from the comments I have seen you write on the other forum either, seems like quite the van. Thanks to all of you, especially herbie, t.low, and ihatemybike for all their Astro info posted here and the astro forum.
That kind of abuse is what you get when you enter he "bead" industry.
I love those Tigers, though I would prefer a gt pop top over hard. Nice to see that thing still kicking after what looks like some heavy abuse.
Thanks Herbie, Both points I had not considered. I never even considered the AC, though I don't think that is a big deal for my needs, great to keep in mind. And I never thought of adding windows...that is a great point too. I don't like how inviting all the windows are for a smash and...
From the little I have seen you should definitely do it, seems very capable.
At the risk of thread jacking I have 2 questions, which may help intothewild as well.
Is the size of a Astro cargo vs normal astro same interior once everything is pulled from the back? I would guess they are, but...
Cool. Like I said, low price and no vin info sometimes raises flags, glad to hear everything worked out for both parties involved.
If you don't mind can you let us know what it went for?
FYI: I pm'd Gary on Nov 3rd asking for a vin and about the frame but have yet to hear back (not even the complimentary someone beat you to it :( ). I know the Taco is pending sale from Friday, so just wanted to throw it out there. I am only posting this because occasionally people try to sell...
WOW, thanks for the update! That is exactly what I am planning to build, except with all 3 pieces being the same height. So glad to see yours in action rather than an image in my head. I wasn't worried, but now any doubt has been removed.
Camper Needs to go - Free (Oceanside)
Not mine etc.
This camper shell is 12' with a 4' overhang and is in pretty decent shape. It does need a jack stand reattached but that should not be a problem it sleeps 4 and has a kitchen. The stove does work but will need the refridgerator fixed or...
I have been following your site, and couldn't believe you hadn't tried it yet. Worst case you find out you hate it, but at least you wont have to think about all the waves you may have missed years down the road...good luck man.
Anyone who read the article would most likely agree that neither bear spray, nor a gun would have been effective in this situation. That being said, I agree that a gun would probably be worse in this situation, between the hour of night, the other people around who could potentially get hit...
