thanks for all the inputs from everyone. I know every thing can fail but we were just discussing how these are the only manufac of regular vehicles (not unimog) with several lockers. My friend has decided on eaton lockers which I am not so knowledgable about. Any comments on these???

sorry yes but we were just debating the longevity of a factory equipt newer production vehicles. With reliability testing of the major manufactures being offered when a stock vehicle is offered with a locker I was curious what mercedes offers.

Hello not that familiar with the g wagon; and have been going back a forth with a friend from australia about lockers. Besides Jeep the G wagon is the only other vehicle we thought of that comes with a bunch of lockers. Is the G wagons lockers e lockers or are they air type like the ARB? thanks...

Now I am working real hard to get a friend of mine to go on the trip also but he can not swing a whole summer trip away from work. so I may be a lone vehicle at times so self recovery and not getting stuck in the first place will be important.

I myself do not mess with turbo's but being with friends who each have grand nat; Z06, and a supra watch out for increase boost. The higher you run the higher the risk of busting something!
