If you want to stick with Suzuki, you could always go to a Sidekick/Vitara/Geo Tracker, too. Not quite Spartan and a bit more comfortable on the highway.

I own a 2010 AWD SX4 and love it. FYI, Rocky Road makes a lift for it, Primitive Racing makes skid plates for them, Road Race Motorsports offers a light bar for it, and of course you can slap some WARN lights on that light bar. It's pretty good in the sand and the snow, too. Center diff lock...

One or two of the trucks are running a WARN Olympus 25 electric winch up front (our new 25,000 lb. capacity electric winch), and a WARN winch on the back, too.
