My plan was to do a diesel swap into an 80 series, or do a Tacoma diesel as our little family is about to increase again by +1! I could be swayed though, PM me with what you have.

I hear ya. I nor my wallet could justify getting 10mpg with the original 60 gas motor so it had to be a diesel. I spend months researching the right turbo to add to this truck and am very pleased with the choice. With the 4.11's and turbo, she's comfy at 70mph and your not going to cause a pile...

Thanks for the info guys. If the right Land Rover or defender came along that was already built, I would consider it but I think im leaning towards the 80 series. Although my 3B is turboed and does decent on and off the highway, I think a diesel 80 series is going to suit my needs better...
