For many a trip to Utah is a once in a lifetime destination trip. I'm one of the lucky one's who gets to call it home. I spent a lot of time exploring it with my family as a kid, and hope to do the same with my family. I am always blown away at how much there is to explore... how many dirt roads...
Thanks for the info! How can you tell the difference between a flake and an actual arrowhead? Not disagreeing with you I literally have no idea.
We didn't take them not because it's illegal I didn't know that either. But because I have no need for them and hope the next person who finds them...
I was really impressed with potato bottom. Being close to the river would be awesome especially in warmer weather! How far ahead did you have to reserve it?
Few More Pictures
I finally got pictures off of another device. Here area few more pictures from our trip.
Mike snagged a quick picture of me looking over the Colorado river. I need to remember to actually get in front of one of the camera every once in a while.
You can see the Jeep in...
I think the unlimited models have really changed the way Jeeps are used. People are putting a lot more miles on these rigs than they have in the past. I know I plan too. My Rubicon only has 96k miles and its a 2004. I plan to put a lot more miles than 9k miles per year on it.

Plan is to use it as the family adventure rig. It will spend a good amount of time off-road however it won't be asked to do much rock crawling.

Really appreciate everyone's input. It's nice to see that these rigs are doing well with higher miles. My hope is to get at least 200k out of the motor and transmission.

I love Jeeps. Currently drive a 2004 Rubicon with around 95k miles. We need a bigger rig, more storage better seating options. Highly considering an unlimited but my budget puts me in the 90k plus mileage area.
What is the most amount of mileage you have seen on an unlimited? How many trouble...
Looks awesome! As our family grows we are looking at doing a trailer build as well. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

That sounds great! I would love to go through in the snow! We have done a good amount of exploring near Goblin Valley in the snow and you are right the red rock and snow together is so beautiful.
Sounds like you had a great trip. First tracks on the Switchback! I am jealous! Planning a fall trip with the wife so we should be able to then. Was the trail pretty busy?
Thanks for reading! Going in late February worked really well for us. I actually heard about that time frame from some guys on ADVRider.com. Because it is the off season we were not even charged for our permits. We reserved online of course but, there was no reservation charge, so that was...
The White Rim Trail: Canyonlands Utah
No doubt the White Rim Trail is a bucket list trip for everyone who knows about it. Despite growing up in Utah and spending a lot of time exploring the state as a kid with family and as an adult I had never done the trail. Last fall we started planning out...
