And that is less ugly or intrusive than what comes in the kit? I cut out 3" of the body to fit 40's, I'm thinking the aftermarket filler door through the rear fender isn't going to be the end of the world.
The kit is designed to use the filler door. I'm sure you could fit your own inlet though, you just need to research the filler spout and port. Again, they are all universal parts so as long as the spout fits the inlet tube and seals you can do whatever you want. Reference the parts and pictures...
There's only a couple of parts in the kit that aren't universal. The pump is $15 on Amazon. Titan forgot to include a gas cap in my kit so I replaced it with an '01 F150 ratcheting, sealed cap.
The kit uses Gates fuel hose. You can buy additional lengths and route it any way you want. The only part in the entire kit that Titan makes is the tank and control module, the rest is sourced.
I'm curious how you plan to do the inner fenders. It might be worth looking at the AEV fender flare instructions for some ideas. Don Thuren said he bought rolls of the material AEV uses for the inner fender extensions from McMaster Carr. I was thinking you could glass in lips under the fenders...
Was Expedition One selling me a prototype without telling me? How is the bumper in prototype today if Expedition One said my bumper (the PW bumper I was unaware of several pages back that apparently they were selling me) was going to powder coat? Why would Expedition One want to charge me a...
How many holes do I have to poke in the chargeback response to get Expedition One to admit I played no part in the order going sideways and they were just trying to prevent me from rightfully cancelling the order?
I edited out my personal information
From: info@expeditionone.biz...
I don't think it was a drop down option but I know it was mentioned in the text of page. It's been almost seven months since I placed the order and their site has changed so I can't remember the exact language. I know it didn't say "Super Duper Custom Power Wagon Bumper".
There was no miscommunication, you guys f@cked up, tried to blame me, and are now trying to partially lay it at my feet with some flimsy story about a product no one has seen.
Until I said I called first you had no idea. I didn't ask to have a custom bumper made, asked if the bumper on the site fit. I was told it did but to mention what the bumper was going on. The person I spoke with said they worked in marketing and were covering the phones, they had no involvement...
So you're saying I custom ordered a prototype bumper no one has ever seen off of your website? Isn't your desk right next to the other guy who's been active in this thread?
I'm not even sure what to say. This just keeps getting more ridiculous.
