I'm impressed that you got a response.
Still . . . price doesn't matter. Availability does. Perhaps that means availability of money.
Clearly this bumper is way beyond the quality of workmanship and execution than that of the KMA bumper.
Anyway, the Kaymar FJC bumpers are...
This is fantastic. I don't think the higher COG and longer load is that big a deal when looking at the major benefit (you get to bring your kayaks) and the subsequent amount of joy derived from it. :)
I've rubbed several holes into the cover of my Eezi-Awn from lashing a bike trailer to it for...
KC, I latched onto that same statement about living outside, and entirely know the misery that hits the first time in bad weather when living that way. Cruising solo has such a different dynamic than traveling with the family, or even just one other person. While I'm no motorcyclist, I can see...
Yes. That's part of the bummer here. However, a sale is a sale, so I'm sure a special order isn't out of the question. MAF apparently is the only US distributor so they could certainly get the bumper in a future container load (or however they import). Slim chance they're interested in...
Do you have to get the proprietary antenna? Someone turned me on to Gilsson for my Garmin GPS. It was about 1/5th the retail price of the Garmin antenna and perfect performance.

Kaymar makes a rear swing out style bumper for the Nissan Navara / Frontier now. It's an Australian made unit, and the Kaymar name is well known with Land Cruiser owners. My understanding is that they have a good reputation. That's good news.
Features include:
Integrated tow hitch
Swing out...
If you think this is how kids are made, I have . . . no. Forget it. Pardon me. You're absolutely correct!
Keep on doing what you're doing. You'll be fine!
Ron, I think you should be looking at a hard case for transporting your camera gear by plane. Like others suggested, a Pelican or similar.
Then use something else, like a soft sided bag, for when you're mobile. Something you can sling around your shoulder, wear as a backpack (I'm not fond of...
By the way, you can now get a simple plug-in extension cable for the Warn. Maybe it's always been available, but the boys at Shrockworks sent me an email about it. You don't have to dink around with the wiring.
I can't remember exactly why we chose to re-wire the thing instead of just clip...
My favorite color is a toss up between purple and red. Very . . . swinger.
Now that I'm a family man, white does the job just fine. And is remarkably symbolic of vanilla.
Fantastic work! Getting good light in the Eezi-Awn is a serious after-market deficiency (who makes a nice 12-volt permanent light for RTTs?). I'm glad you found something that works, looks nice, and (hell!) didn't cost much.
