As someone who had their vehicle seized, the amount of misinformation in this thread is unbelievable. This is not simply an 'original specs' issue, although that could certainly be a component. There is a reason all the seizures originate from the same importer/seller

This is incorrect. 5-speeds (manual transmission) were not available to the North American market in the Disco 2 (they were available in the Disco 1). Several have made the conversion but it was never a factory configuration

Max, you know better than compare a D2 to an LR3. I do agree it's probably not a big issue as long as the replacement was done properly.

You won't be disappointed with the Duratracs. The tread cleans very well and they're very quiet

The Watts Linkage also binds up the rear axle articulation considerably on a D2 compared to a more conventional setup on a D1
