I don't have any personal experience with them, but I like the stuff I see online. If the quality and attention to detail is so spectacular, I don't think the prices are bad at all. Especially if it's made in the USA. I don't mind spending $100-150 on a pair of pants if they last me 4 or 5...

My Simpson II has the cracks as well. They've never been a problem for me, and I've put about 40 nights in mine. I'm not a pro, but I don't think any potential buyers should be too wary about this apparent recurring "problem". Good luck with the sale!
