I agree to some degree Snagger. I have read nothing good about using thicker fuels (for lack of a better term) in 300 Tdis. Also, not sure how readily available Used Motor Oil is on an expedition, lest you Get stuck, drain all the oil from your mates truck and abandon that truck on the trail...
