New Modified Teardrop Concept, Max Storage with Slide-Out

I Love the concept, its a REALLY nice idea and design. Just needs a few minor tweeks, as noted above. If it were mine, I would do a trailing arm set-up with airbags and shocks on the suspension, but thats just my opinion. Your towed weight loads wont vary much, so a properly sized torsion axle...

Couldnt have said it better myself. Interco Truxus bring the suck. I should get laid off around the end of November since the job is finally coming to an end, and I suspect I wont have anything going job wise until the middle to end of January. I would think we could get em done in that time...

Yes, Stone Mountain. I know, its lame. But hey, atleast we are going somewhere... they lake is pretty darn nice there though. And its 10 minutes from my house. When my wife suggests camping for the weekend, I tend to oblige - regardless of location.

Ok, I checked out the picture of your truck on my smart phone. Now it looks a proper truck. Nice!

I cant see your photo till I get home, but im sure it looks awesome. I knew you couldnt stand it too much longer. I wish I could go out and scout some stuff with you, but the wife, kid and I are heading out Friday morning for a quick 'camping' trip to Stone Mountain. If you can call it camping...

They are pretty reasonable I think. You have to shop around, I picked up my set for $800.00 cash, plus an additional $75.00 reate from Cooper on top of it. So, $725.00 for a new set of 35's is pretty darn good. They are an awesome tire.

Also, in the past couple of months, I rebuilt an extremely worn out drive shaft... Added a set of HD Offroad Engineering Shackle re-location rackets and got an insane amount of flex out of the rear suspension. (no pics of those yet...) Did a full axle swap to 4.56 gears and front and rear...

Teal ********** finally got some new shoes. Put on a set of 35x12.50 Cooper STT's. Rides about a thousand times better now. Still got tons to do on her, but its getting closer. (you can also see my new leather seats I got for it in the first picture...) With them on:

    CFM related to tool choice

Just get a CO2 tank and be done with it all. As a side note, I have the Milwaukee 2663-22, and that thing is a beast. I hardly ever pull out my ingersol, even when at the shop. ~ Stump

    Question about PUMA compressors

Mike, I am not familiar with the model to be honest, but if its an oil-less compressor (and it likely is), you can mount it anyway you like.

96 ZJ, built... school me Jeepers...

Depending on the tires (brand, kind MT or AT etc etc ), it could be very drivable, but 4:11 gears is still kinda high for 35's with an auto. I assume is has the AW4 tranny? If so, its a DANG good auto and rarely give much trouble. I have two jeeps (XJ's) with that same drivetrain combo, and tow...

And it begins. Stump XJ's trailer build.

I sold the trailer several months ago, and I assume its being used. Cherokee has been lovingly dubbed the Teal **********, and would lose all its character now if I changed the color... besides, White ********** is prolly not socially acceptable. :) I will probably leave it as is for now, atleast until I...

Thats surprising, looking at the pictures of them it appears the lugs are closely spaced, which I would assume would cause them to pack up easily. Who do you know who has them Bill? They look like they would be a good highspeed/desert sort of tire... ~ Stump

Honestly can say I have never tried any MAXXIS tire. I have a friend who gets good deals on a few brands, so I usually choose from that group. Cooper being one of them.
