    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

The more I research, the quicker this is becoming my thought process! After thinking and reading, your info makes perfect sense, but do I really NEED all of that? Again I'm not going to be spending a LOT of time in said camper, mostly sleeping and charging. I think it's great to have, just in...

    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

Yes, that was due to not having anything to camp IN. LOL I imagine once I get the pop up sorted, those numbers will go up significantly. I have looked at the Honda unit. It's basically a small, stand alone, gas powered generator, right? (Meaning: I wouldn't need anything else?). I'm a biit...

Ouch, thanks for that! I bet that would've been a lesson learned the hard way!

    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

This might be the setup I need. I have looked at the Zamp products. Im on the fence. I haven't given much thought about hot water, other than the PVC-type, roof mounted systems. Again, Im going for portable here... Thanks for the info! (retyping for ease of locating later!) 100Ahr battery...

    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

I spend a lot of time working away from home, so when I AM home, I'm busy on the Honey-Do List. Re-wiring vehicles is usually something I need to spend a full week on, since I have severe OCD. I'd rather hold off on the permanent (fixed) options & roll my funds into a (mostly) portable setup...

Awesome, thank you for this!!! I wont be doing much camping in Montana during the winter. Too much time doing that in the military! LOL Can I keep the batteries on a trickle charger in my 45 degree shop all winter?

    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

Well, NORMALLY, we only stay for a night or two (probably due to living in a tent). Last summer, we tent camped for about 8 nights. During that stay, we used zero power (excluding batteries for headlamps, etc), and charged our equipment while driving around YNP, but that wont always be the...

    POPUP POWER FOR A DUMMY

Thanks for the info! Budget: Haven't thought about it much I guess. We all like affordability, but when it comes to staying warm and dry, I don't skimp. DC Fridge: I've been looking into them, but haven't pulled the trigger. Which comes first, wiring or DC Fridge? I assume one would plan...

1974 Coleman Valley Forge - Complete gut job

Had to head out of town on business. Decided to keep the canvas in the box this winter. The mice are already getting into everything in my garage...so we bought a cat! LOL I figured one season in the box would mean one more season the mice wouldn't tear it up. From here, it's a blank...

Roof Mounting Hardware...I couldve bought all new, but Im trying to keep the budget down. Fired up my Harbor Freight ultrasonic cleaner with some Simple Green and let it go. Not bad for zero effort. It took a lot of gunk and crud off. Cant wait to try out a small carb next! [Before on...

Bows were sanded, primered and spray painted satin Desert Tan. Thought about just sanding them clean, but it was too erratic and splotchy, so I painted them.

Painted. I just went acrylic semi gloss white. I wont see 80% of the walls, as they'll be hidden behind the cabinets. Might put some wall paper or something on the areas we CAN see down the road. I dunno. Now, about those rusty bows.... Dust mask + DA Sander + 80 grit = almost done

Now to install LED Clearance Markers. The wiring is in great shape, but since I've come this far, I might rewire the trailer lights as well.
