I use a RAM windshield mount augmented by resting on the dash (hence the velcro on the front bottom area). Its super convenient to access while driving (yeah I know... :rolleyes:) and doesn't move around; yet easy/quick to remove for whatever reason.

No maps. My MapCreate 7 DVD took a dump otherwise I would have included 2Gb worth of topo data. There are a number of topo purveyors that offer topo map data for these.

I don't own the Snow Peak torch but have used one. The Iwatani probably doesn't put out 14,000btus per SP's rating but it does put out some serious flame. Plus you can throttle the flame/output back for caramelizing the sugar atop your Creme Brulee :coffeedrink:

I just wish the SnowPeak torch had an igniter. I have the Iwatani torch I use at home that also works great...it has adjustable flame control and an integral igniter.

Our KK came with the Webasto 2000. The output at 6,500' and up really takes a nose dive. Webasto told me the newer (ours is a 2008 model) 2000 were supposed to be programmable for high or low altitude but our's is not able to be switched.
The newer Airtronic 3900 and 5500 have built in...
