IMHO: wife+kids+hunting = 4'x8' If you end up dragging it thru some rough spots, just smile and think of everyone sitting at home. Half the fun of owning a trailer is coming up with modification that improve its function next time.
I'd be quite interested in seeing a video similar to the prior air bag demo that showed the arms in action. Perhaps a go-pro camera. I'd really like to see a straight axle and independent roll up/down the same trail just to see the difference. I know, I'm weird, but I am into trailer porn I...

Am I the only one Flickr is denying my rightful access to this build? Thumbnails just aren't enough. And I have a Flickr account even..
Portable fireplaces are pretty convenient. Great for when you roll in after dark, or when the wind shifts and you just need to relocate. It doesnt replace the ambiance of a Saturday night bomfire with the whole crew, but it definitely has it's place.
At $100, the complimentary fiberglass...
Diverting just a bit, does anyone have any practical examples of what a Honda 2000 will power that a 1000 won't? Obviously it has double the output, but I'm just curious what tools/appliances/gadgets anyone has used out in the woods.
I like the layout. The alum-cabinets might not be my first choice. You might like having access to sink (albeit from behind the faucet) and maybe the coffee maker from inside. I think i recall you did have frig access from inside.
If yellow aint your style, you might just get it wrapped. This way it can be returned to yellow if/when time to sell. Maybe go two-tone to match the jeep.
If this was charged to a credit card, file a chargeback. You will need to show you received no product/services, and that the vendor made assurances and didnt deliver. I give you about 50/50 odds, Visa or MC will refund. Cant hurt to try.
I'm guess you're OK with sacrificing quite a bit of departure angle in the rear of the trailer by extending the shell. For most, thats likely an acceptable trade-off, but given your jeep's ability to get well beyond the first set of obstacles, i'm curious your plan? Some serious skid plates...
I think "trailers in action" is definitely a great topic for this forum. Showing a trailer's potential and functional limits can help DIY builders anticipate build requirements. Documenting any system failures is not always as easy to capture or something you may want to offer up for review, but...
Not mine, just like the slick soft-top. Price seems fair.
