As updsate with pics tomorrow, Action Van 4.5" front lift installed, going from 225/75 allseason to 235/85 Duratrac picked up total of 8" lift, not sure how we got this much though. Installer said we only needed two inch block in rear so Action Van made one up with Ubolts and overnighted. Upon...
Slide choke from all the way left to the right part way. With choke fully opened (i think left is open) it sputtered. When I start choke is all the way to right, then I move lever to left once warm. When I did move choke to right to get it to stop sputtering, it sounded like revs went down a...
Not too hijack thread but I have a question on generators, Honda 2000 specifically. During recent storm we were without electrical for 15 hours or so. During that time we used our Honda 2000 to keep frig going. Fridge is 1-yr old LG and sticker says "Defrost/Input 525 watts", that is only...
OK, just looked, doesn't have but if I turn on 4lo, traction control does disengege in sand or mud mode. I can get RPM's up doing this but was hoping to just dsengage in auto. Snow mode doesn't allow to disengege.
I have a 2014 WK2 with Quadra-Trac II and terrain select. Not long ago was wheelin thru muddy creek bed and on other side it had high shefl I got stuck on. Front wheels got up and over but rear could not get up and over.
To get out I tried to increase RPM's up to 1500 and jump out and over but...
I would look at mid-2000 Jeep Grand Cherokees also, can be had in this price and these were well built, ours has over 220k miles and going strong but 2wd.
I don't backpack any more but this is really cool.
Link doesn't work though, it would be interesting to see calories I use chasing brookies up and down small mountain streams with lite pack.
Action Van 4.5" front lift installed yesterday along with Duratrac 235/85/16's. Custom Ubolts being made locally for rear blocks, assuming all works I'll test for a few days and look to order leaf springs. I'll measure Monday but I should have 3.5" increase from lift plus 1" from bigger tires.
I left batteries in my Garmin 60cx, one battery corroded the connector and in taking it out connector broke in half, anyone know easy fix or who could repair something like this?
Thanks
About 24 has been my comfort zone, with low sidewalls I worry about going lower but not sure if correct. I guess I can run one and if I blow bead put on spare, testing might be best.
Thanks, because of low sidewall I have always been concerned about airing to far down, I have taken to 22-25 with no problems but haven't tried below there. Our 2004 JGC has 18" wheels and I have thought about switching them with the 2014's 20" to get more sidewall but no decision yet.
Hi, I was wondering what is effective but safe tire deflation limit for a JGC with Zitto Terra Grappler G2 275/55/20 tires/wheels? I run about 38psi on street. No bead locks. Off-road use is mostly forest roads/unimproved dirt roads, nothing crazy, but some areas have very longer steep hills...
