What is the total length of your trailer? Your drawing above doesn't show the height when standing the trailer up vertical. I have a one car garage but I do have the depth to stand a trailer up, just not sure of the total length of the trailer. This might be a very practical investment since I...
Considering that the Jeep hood latches mount on the side of the Jeep hood, I don't think mounting them on the side would look bad, either on a a trailer or a half-cab Jeep. There are also locking hood latches available in the aftermarket if you want a locking solution.
Will this Storegate be able to be retrofitted to a factory wrangler gate? If so, you will have a whole new product to market. A JK version would be pretty sweet as well.
As far as your rear stabilizer bar what if you had Y shaped piece that fits in the 2" reciever. A few inches past the reciever a hinge could be placed so that while traveling the Y stands vertical behind the trailer. At each end of the Y a trailer stand could be attached also on hinges so when...
One thing to consider is when the tent is pitched on top of the trailer, how stable it will be if the trailer is not attached to a vehicle. Too much weight on the back would lift the tongue causing a catastrophe. That is why I think having the floor flip forwards or to the side would be the...
With the tub being as short as it is, I don't see the point of the wider tailgate since the wheel wells take up so much side storage space already. I actually the narrower tub model you posted (#3) as the "super economical trailer" as it would not require larger wheels/tires, bumper, etc and...
I don't think I would want a drop down gate if it is made out of fiberglass. Honestly I think the kit should not come with a tailgate at all but if you want to offer your "Safari" gate as an optional add-on it would probably sell well. I would make it swing out instead of drop down. That way...
You could put the TJ tiregate on the front of the trailer though which would still give you access to inside of the trailer as well as give a good location for the spare.
How about a Softopper?

They are a topper when you need one, and remove in minutes when you don't.
They also offer a rack system to use with the softopper OR hard bed caps for those of you wanting a rack system to use with your cap...
You've really thought out all the different aspects of this. If I had the means I would start producing these, I'm sure someone will be able to make some good money producing them for you. I don't own a Jeep or even need a trailer right now but I really want one of these after seeing how you've...
You should quit your day job and start working as a Jeep designer. All of your projects look production quality and I think they would have seriously sold well if they were production models.
OR
You should start a small company making turn key versions of your creations or at least selling...
