Floated lots of miles down the Platte River and various lakes in my 18' Grumman Lightweight canoe back in the day. Easy to handle on/off the vehicle and tough. Not the best for heat of summer canoeing though ;-). But unbeatable for $200!
My folks also had a beautiful Old Town wood and canvas...
I've used all kinds of grills and griddles for meat and other edibles when camping including the Partner's. However I bought one of these this past summer and it truly is my favorite. Easy to clean (the Partner isn't), puts a great sear on whatever you're cooking, double duty for hash...
Ken,
Starting with identical batteries will go along way to getting good battery longevity in a dual set-up. Your plan should be fine. Although I can't isolate one of my dual batteries in my trailer(s), and just as Brad stated, no problemo to date. Although I don't use the queen size dual...
Sorry I've been MIA the past couple days ;-)

Here's a photo of the actual filler...it has a spring loaded "gate" at the top.
The one thing we found odd were the lack of veggies and reluctance appetite for salads in the La Pampa region; especially given the latitude and agricultural base. Although all the meats were incredible including the home-made sausages after a week of steady on protein we were ready for a...

Dave is a great guy and always willing to help if he can. FYI this is where I sourced all my OEM aux tank parts including the dual filler neck.
The Argentine beef is really wonderful. Much more flavor and texture than stateside. And of course the Dulce de Leche is a must after the BBQ!
Great photos and vid Scott! Have fun.
I can attest to the reliability and perfect performance of dual Lifeline's (G31) in my then Horizon and now my KK. In a sealed area, as the nose box of your Horizon for instance, you will want an internally venting battery IMO.
However I am running Odysseys in my LC in the main and aux...
From my 3-year experience with the Cook Partner stove I found their burners to be "under-rated" BTU wise. They have very strong output. You do give up a little on the simmer side but I solved that when a light simmer was needed by using an aluminum disk between the burner grate and the pan...
Is your current customer going to add an aux tank for his Alaska trip? And if he is how are you going to deal with the canister?
You are right...if I was employed right now...that is EXACTLY what I would be doing.
Although the comfort and overall performance of the IFS is nice for most of...
Agreed! We bought a 50L 4+ years ago (Waeco) and then this past summer added a 25L to primarily use as just a freezer for longer trips. But it is super nice to have this flexibility depending on needs.
