They are also much tougher to build if that is a concern. There are few if any bumpers and the AHC system isn't easily alike the LC100/LX470. Fantastic vehicles but know your limitations on the front end of the research.

So many angles to discuss but first and foremost. Why buy your first 80 that needs a new motor right off the bat? Why not buy something you can use right off the bat and decide from there what your next mods are?

So how does the custom map layer work, ie how do you align the maps? Pic 3 points and calibrate?

Right, assuming he is running Android. I'll concede he must given his comments. And while that sounds like a neat feature (and I'm hopeful it's integrated) I can't imaging that having any real impact in planning a trip give how easy it is to zoom or toggle between the two in HEMA. Value added...

What about it isn't working for planning that trip? Are you using iOS or Android? I lead a similar trip with ExpeditionOverland and Toyota using HEMA as my only mapping, worked great. Perhaps we can solve your issue?

Re: Sequoia vs. 200 - light duty vs. heavy duty. Crawl underneath and compares things like control arms, steering linkage, etc. For some the Sequoia is a compromise,for others it's a great option. Re: 100 vs 200 - Both are fantastic platforms but the 200 has roughly 50% more HP, far better...

Of course they are in the same circle as overlanders, they are overlanders themselves. Whereas we know little/nothing about these other corps. The HEMA U.S. Map patrol is in Alaska currently having been all over AZ, NM, CO, WY, MT, Can, etc. they start south in a day or two. Am I biased? Sure...

Oh, and whomever gets it if I don't, we (Cruiser Outfitters) stock new AISIN actuator assemblies. They are not super inexpensive but the locker simply doesn't work without them :D
