    Scan Guage(s)

Ive had my Scan gauge II in a couple vehicles over the past few years, and have had ZERO problems. The customer service is awesome too, as I had trouble figuring out how to setup an X gauge and they walked me through it. If this one craps out for some reason, I will buy another. ~ James

And it begins. Stump XJ's trailer build.

Building new stuff now... but it wont be much. You would not believe how much better it is without a huge roof rack and rtt on top of the jeep. SOOOO much better to drive and picked up 2 mpg (actual).

Stumptaco's has gone over to the darkside..XJ style.

Hey Alex, I mentioned if before somewhere, but I just basically measured some stuff, wheel wells, etc, and transposed those measurements onto the wood. It wasnt that hard if I recall, just took a little trimming a few times to get it right. My flooring is in two sections, with the joint going...

Ive got about $1700 (and a bajillion hours of time) into mine. The bulk of the cost was steel, and new tires and wheels. ~ Stump

Single-Burner Stove Users - Comment on stability?

I have that Exponent stove, and would NOT put anything over a couple quarts on it. Its just not made for it. I cooked bacon in a frying pan with it this weekend, and it was very unstable with little to no weight. I have a huge 16 inch WOK that I use for cooking sometimes, and I use it with my...

    Pull-out Kitchen Thread

Just dragging this up from the pseudo dead in hopes of more photos or ideas to be posted. My wheels are turning and I think I have come up with a winter project for my trailer/kitchen set-up. I have been using my wooden chuckbox that I built: While this box has been really good to me, and...

Help with ID of Chrysler 8.25

I too want and ARB for the rear, just for the selectable option. But, I have had great success with my Aussie in the front. Over two years now, and not a lick of trouble. Slightly different than in the rear, but the product it self is fantastic, and you dont know its there in the front. If you...

    Small Garage, Big Project

That'll probably work just fine. Out of sight, out of mind. I guess the bottom line is if someone really wants it, they can get it regardless of how good the security features are. Awesome work man! ~ Stump

    Small Garage, Big Project

Ive been waiting on you to kind of 'finish' posting your pictures before replying. This it truly an awesome build man, seriously. Nice attention to details. Makes me smile when project of this caliber comes to fruition. Nicely done sir. On a side note, I absolutely love the jerry can holder...

    Mail-order parts Internationally?

I know most of the German guys I used to ride with in Germany who had built up Jeeps, got their stuff from the US. It costs a fortune to build a Jeep over there. Im sure there are places to buy certain parts, but the markup and euro conversion negates most savings from just shipping it from the US.

Stumptaco's has gone over to the darkside..XJ style.

Hey Alex, yes its hard mounted through the wood platform and the metal floor. I did it many moons ago, and dont remember many details, but it was fairly easy. Take the drawers out of the box, and drilled 4 holes in the corners. Drilled the same pattern in the jeep, and bolted it down with (4)...

Yeah man, my Pops is my hero for sure. Taught me everything I know and then some. (not to take anything from my Mom..., we are talking 'man' stuff here). He has owned a metal fabshop/hotrod shop for a LONG time now, Machine shop, paint and body, welding etc, they do it all except interior work...

Haha... God I hope not. He got fired/resigned and later arrested for getting a little too touchy/feely with some 'boys' in his classes. Howevere, my dad would be proud, he is pretty much who taught me most of this stuff. And just learning by doing it (read: messing up, then having to 'fix' it)...
