We made our way to Steamboat Springs and found a great place to camp. The Boat was dry too...The Yampa River was closed to fishing due to the low water and warm temperatures. We went for some hikes and soaked up the hotsprings in town... Louise made some nice dinners...No bugs, sunsets, and...

The old settlement was impressive! Sold out to the park in the 60s...The property showcased that I think they were doing quite well ranching in the middle of nowhere! They had a ranch in excess of 2000 acres! Nicest, abandoned ranch house I have seen... The high grasslands were awesome...
