Holy old school 255's baby!!! UT - Stock Pile

I am guessing these to be from the early 1980's or late 1970's!! I think they would probably only be good for a museum truck of some sorts. Just my two pennies. Dendy

    Trail list idea..

I have wanted to find one of the old 1950's/1960's style deal with the blank States and then when you visit a state, you get a cool vintage sticker that shows that State's attractions. Just haven't found one yet. My grandparents had one on their Airstream back in the day. Love your decal...

FS - Cotton/Flannel rectangular sleeping bags

Well, I thank ya. Those pics of your little girl looked so fun, and I couldn't sleep the night I saw this post thinking that a little financial hiccup would prevent you guys from going out and having some get away fun. I am glad to better understand the situation. I really think that those of...

    New Conqueror Compact owner

Economy has had its grip on us here. We have been staying close to home the last few weeks. I didn't go with Dale because his trip was to be so rushed. I want to go when I can take time and enjoy the scenery. Where 'bouts you guys going this weekend? THAT sounds like fun. We are for sure in for...

I have found that if you alternate the direction they are loaded, that it makes a huge difference. (meaning some with tapered side forward and some rearward). Then when removing, pull ONE out from the bottom of the pile, and then the rest will come out MUCH easier. Dendy

Tell you what. Send me a paypal address and I am going to buy the green coleman bag for $30.00, ... but there is a hitch and you have to agree to it. I want you to keep the bag. Those pictures show you guys know how to have a good time as a family, and even though we are in a similar boat ...

Where to locate used Series Land Rovers?

You should check with RoverTrader (Dale Knepp) to determine if he knows of any sitting around. He is really plugged into the scene in North Carolina. http://www.theroverbarn.com/ Hope that helps Dendy ps: Tell him I sent you his way.

Where to locate used Series Land Rovers?

Oh, Man! That is a nice truck! Looks great. Enjoy ... except that no a/c in Southern GA. has to be a bear! Dendy

    Land Rover ownership–A special illness?

A friend of mine and I (both Roverphiles) have this discussion at least two times a week (he is Rover Trader). There is some attachment to the trucks that defies logic. I drive a NAS 110 daily, own a 1995 Rangie Classic, and a 2006 Rangie HSE. The NAS is big, slow, tricked, hot, but always...

    My Conqueror and Rig!

That "diamond tread" rubber is a self adhesive backed that comes in these narrow "step" size pieces ... or in 1X1 squares. I got this at Northern Tool, but believe I have seen it at Harbor Freight. I will get back to you on the internal material. The company was on rough times a few weeks back...

    Range Rover values

Classics are one of those trucks that either you love or hate. If you love them, you accept that there will be constant challenges and maintenance. Personally, I drove one for 15 years and recently purchased another. My daily is a NAS 110, but I purchased the Classic to keep the mileage down on...

    My Conqueror and Rig!

Same Here. You can reach the items that are in the fold out where the plates, etc. store, but to reach inside the belly of the trailer is a stretch. My future plans include a modular kitchen unit on that side, that will allow for the stove to slide out, and a couple of storage drawers, but could...

    My Conqueror and Rig!

Hey, Jay: I deployed and tore down my large tarp by myself. Can't say that it was terrible, but it was my first time, so ... slow. My tarp has canvas on one side, and a rubberized membrane on the other. It didn't "slide" well over the rubber roof of the tent, so that was the toughest part. The...

Also, I added a few graphics to the trailer that I thought you guys might enjoy: One of the great sayings of Land Rover Enthusiasts is One Life. Live It. I had to use it - And Close up: I also had some decals made for the trailer and the truck that state: First Aid Kit On Board. Enjoy...

    My Conqueror and Rig!

I had the great honor of camping this past week with Dale Knepp (Rovertrader) and his terrific family. We camped in Balsam NC at a beautiful camp ground, Moonshine Creek Campground. While it was pushing the upper 90's in Nashville, it was chilly at night and very mild and comfortable where we...
