Pics posted below Hi everyone. Well, I have had to keep my mouth quiet for the two months as I was "sworn" to no info until the article came out in the OJ. I was told it would be for the fall issue and to my surprise it was in the summer issue I got today.:sunny: I was lucky to get invited...

Well I was finally able to get around to so trailer mods on our Kamparoo. I had bought a Lock 'n Roll hitch but the trailer is not setup with a receiver to accept it. No problem, just a little cutting, welding and volia. Since I cutting off the old coupler setup, I got the cutting torch out...

    First Trip with Kamparoo trailer

We got out for our first trip with our new to us 2004 Kamparoo Weekender trailer. This is the first trailer I have pulled with our Cherokee and it pulled great. I basically set the cruise at 62-65mph. We were meeting friends out at Superstition OHV area, west of El Centro. Our trip starts at...

    7 pin trailer wiring help!!!

Okay, I am completely frustrated with trying to wire my Cherokee with a 7 pin plug and then make the trailer match. So far I have found TWO different ways to wire a 7 pin plug. Both are different and I am not sure which is the correct way. On top of this, I have a '98 Chevy C1500 which has a...

    Tranny Cooler Line Routing?

Does it matter which way the fluid flows through the tranny cooler? My lines route better if I have the hot side going in the bottom of the cooler and cooled side coming out from the top. I am bypassing the stock in radiator "cooler" so that does not need to be taken into account. Thanks!

Finally building my front bumper for the XJ

I bought this bumper kit from a member on NAXJA. The parts are CNC laser cut and CNC bent. Very nice kit, which also came with Hella Optlux driving lights. Here are a few pics from what I have done in about 6 hours of work. At this point the bumper could be painted and installed but I want...

Hi everyone, The wife and I received our Kamparoo trailer Friday and this thing is great. I so can't wait to get out for a trip. Still need to do the DMV thing as AAA does not title/register out of country vehicles. :( I do have a question regarding the on board trailer battery. I...

    We found our expedition trailer.

First, I guess I have to thank jagular7 and his thread on "What to do with my frame". In his post he mentioned the Kamparoo trailer. I was like "what is a Kamparoo?" Some Internet searching, lots of reading and months of looking a different options, my wife and I felt a Kamparoo Weekender...

    Opinions on these winches...

So I am looking to buy a winch but at the same time the money tree has not popped up in my back yard, so cost is somewhat an issue. This is going on a Cherokee. 4 Wheel Parts has some listed that look to be in my price range so I want to get some opinions on these models. For reference, this...

FS: Heavy Duty Roof Rack (San Diego)

Hi everyone, I picked up this roof rack to put on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee but have decided it is a little too heavy for this rig. It would work great on a bigger rig, an over a pickup bed setup or on an adventure trailer. It has E-trak surrounding it and one down the middle. This allows you to...

NOOB question about springs for an AT trailer

Okay, I am new to the site and have been reading through many of the post about AT trailers and getting ideas for building my own. I have the fabs skills and tools, so that part is not a problem. On to the question. I have the stock set of leaf springs from my 2000 XJ, that were replaced with...

    Yet another new guy

Hi everyone. I found this site from a link on NAXJA. My wife and I own a 2000 Cherokee Classic, which we have had for almost 2 years. Last Dec. I had collected enough parts to do our lift. It's a hybrid lift using OME rear springs, Rusty coils with spacers, JKS lower arms and disco's...
