Thanks for your input. I have heard the same thing. I can deal with fixable, which I did on my SMB, but price would need to reflect that. Since there was a very limited production run on these vehicles, you may have to pay top dollar.

We are both saying the same thing. The 6.0 is good once bulletproofed. 6.4 is a throwaway. I had a 7.3 that I loved. The first year 6.7 they had some turbo issues, and since then they have gotten much better.

The 6.0 that came in this vehicle original is junk. After $10-15K to bulletproof the 6.0 it is fairly reliable. A Cummins swap is generally the way to go if the 6.0 blows up. My concern about buying a Frankenstein vehicle would be about knowing exactly what you are getting, and relaying that to...
