That is a nice pass thru setup. You have some great aluminum skills.

My guess is, over time (especially with rough roads), these are likely to wear divots into the underside of the drawer, anywhere they are in contact. They are more for rolling stuff across, not supporting weight for extended periods in a dynamic environment.

General rule (unless explicitly said otherwise) with controllers is, battery is first to connect and last to disconnect. With solar connected and inputting power into the controller without a battery hooked up, it will have no place to go and will eventually overheat/burn out the controller...
