Just got back from the shop with passed emissions cert...scheduled for the DMV Friday for registration. Then the real fun can begin!

@nitro_rat do you know anything about the powertrax lockers? doing some looking and these are listed $100+ less than the yukons and detroit lockers, so just wondering how they compare.

Thanks for the notes, I'll keep that in mind. I know that cranking the t bars will destroy the front end if you go too much, so I have been considering lift kits...I'd rather go that direction and keep things from wearing out too quick, but I don't intend on crawling up anything too crazy. The...

holy crap, that's awesome! I'm picking up my 98 2500 burb on saturday and will start the build. also leather, etc. only 160K miles on it. Mine cost a grand more than your though...gonna be watching your closely so I can borrow some ideas, and will be throwing out my own build thread here soon.

KSL.com also gets posts for southern Idaho, western Wyoming, and all of Utah rather than SLC. Lots of southern Utah rigs pop up on here...great for red rock and desert.
