i gave the front door panels some love...
- installed a fix for the cracked armrest (from eBay)
- began painting all the fake wood trim
- fixed some broken plastic sections
- ditched that one d@mn torx screw
- fresh clips
- added a screw to hold in part that always came loose even with new...

i've buffed them clear a couple times. in my experience, once they haze you can get them restored but then they will haze again quickly. i think the UV protectant is just a coating, at least on ebay lights (which these are). so once that initial coating is gone they just don't last...
so this appears to be the year of fixing, versus any major fun projects. so far i've addressed:
fixed big t-case leak and the shifter being sloppy. post here...
majorly improved the vibration issue thanks to a new front driveshaft. experimented with other ideas to try and kill remaining vibes...
i agree, i bought some refurb Asus $50 tabs just to use for extra randomness.

are you asking how i get standard FM radio since i ditched the factory radio in favor of a tablet? if so, i don't! i absolutely hate FM radio, and even XM/Sirius - way too many commercials. in town i listen to Pandora streaming over 4G and in remote areas i listen to MP3z ... unless i'm on the...
i was just under the jeep the other day and they are holding together just fine. i really won't know if the time/cost of doing the poly was worth it till a year from now - that's about how long the previous unmodified set lasted.
changed out the fuel pump this weekend due the assembly seal leaking (and having 190k miles on the original one). already had made an access panel to get to the top of the tank years ago, so it was fairly quick. thanks to Number7 for the help this weekend finding the problem and fixing it...

i'm on my third "carputer". the first was a 8.4" touchscreen tied to a remote mounted laptop. the second was a Motorola XOOM 10.1" tablet. i'm just wrapping up the install of my new Sony Z2 tablet (details here: http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4002). things have gotten simpler...
