Sounds like you are having fun with the upgrades! Just so you know, you are likely fine with a stock JKUR for most of the wheeling you are describing...so the items you list are wants, not needs. But that's no fun, and if budget is not a concern, have at it! To answer your questions...

Very nice! I've been looking at the back of my 2-dr with the backseats removed, thinking of doing something similar. All the manufactured ones are so pricey for what they are. Going to carpet or rubber mat the top, or leave it as is?

Yeah, other than the hands free answering/talking/ending call, I've given up on my uConnect. I even dislike the GUI of the music player (why can't I just delete a song directly from the tracklist?). And my wife and I share the Jeep...she doesn't like my music, and I can barely tolerate her...
