Hi James, you're quite welcomed on the compliment, it is well earned. I will be interested in hearing how a longer freeway type trip does to mileage.
I would be interested in those clamp plates. I am looking to put 8 mounts (a little overkill but that's how I roll :victory: ). If you got 8...
Very nice!!!! I agree about the cost of mounts and have been wanting to do my own. I think you have motivated me to do something very similar.
Don't know if you have had it up there long enough to know but what type of decrease in gas mileage have you noticed?
Great job. :wavey:
Congrats to Rex and Carrie. I am very sure you both are so happy to be back together and work through your problems as a couple. It truly does make all the difference in the world and makes overcoming those problems a little bit easier. :wings:
For Kevin, hang in there. I can't say I know...
Wishing for the very best to you and your wife. Good luck.
Remember, you can not control what will happen in life, you can only control your reaction to the situation. Even if things don't go as well as you hope, your reaction will be the difference on how you move forward.
Stay strong. :)
Okay, I nominate Martyn as Surpreme Trailer Historian.
All in favor say I, IIIIIIIIIIIII
All opposed, <insert cricket noise here>
Okay, it's unanimous, you are now the Surpreme Trailer Historian. Use your powers wisely. :victory:
I have the same feeling about service. I have been with Verizon for 16 years (back when it was Airtouch) and love the service. I got it originally since it was the only one I could get service out in desert and mountain.
I really like the iPhone but just can not bring myself over to ATT...
I agree with the air bag route. That is what I am planning for my XJ. I just need to get out and flex everything up, so I can get measurements for compressed and extended lengths, then I will order up air bags. My problem is not only adding stuff in the XJ but towing the trailer behind it...
Sweet. Sounds like you have a plan and have found the people to help make it happen as well. It will be interesting to see the rig once it is all done. I have been impressed with it and it should just get better.
Staying tuned :lurk:
Yep, ours showed up today. It was truly wrapped well. Felt like I would never find what was in the inside. :cow:
Thanks a bunch for getting these out! :jumping:
Phil, you rock.
The wife and I have been looking for a way to buy the griddle option but had not been able to find it. We have been happy with our stove/grill so far, outside of the flame adjustment being very sensitive.
Placed order for the griddle this morning. :sombrero:
Welcome from a fellow San Diegan ExPo member. Nice CJ. When the weather cools down in the desert again, we'll have to get another Meet and Greet/Day Run together. That was fun. :D :safari-rig:
My guess is due to the world market more then the US market. In the last 50 years there are not many places in the US that can not be driven to via a paved road. Even on dirt roads you are likely to hit some paved road within a 100 miles or so, that is if it is even legal to drive on the dirt...
Congrats on finding the trailer and it sounds like unharmed.
Still would love to hear what happened to get it all the way to FL. :lurk:
As for the relay, I could meet someone in Yuma, AZ and take it up to AT's headquarters. :rally_guys:
Glad it went well. Yep, in vehicle is much easier then pulling the whole box. Since I did this from day one with the lift and rear end change, I have not had vibs so no idea what that. It rocks to use the same drive shaft front and rear. :D
