I'd try taking all the other bolts that hold the bracket and then tapping the bracket side to side behind the bolt. Sometimes that will break the grip.

How is the power compared to a 4.0?

I pulled the axles out of a perfect 91 waggy, white, with wood sides. The guy at the yard tipped it on it's side with the forks. Still makes me kind of sick. I wish I had bought the whole truck.

For 31s, 4.10s could be done cheaply by buying a complete set of stock axles from a 4 cylinder jeep. You might get away with $250 or less.

I have done several rear main seals on 4.0s, the job is not hard, but my success rate sucks. Most of them still drip slightly?

We use these to build stabiltiy chambers at work, then we set them to 40C/75%RH. We use a lot of silicon to seal them up tight. No sure how hard it would be to keep them watertight on a moving vehicle?

If your tires are 32" or less, I would look at a lunch box locker. This locker type just replaces the spider gears and does not require the expensive/complicated gear set up. You can do it yourself for $250ish.
