Curious if the owner of Overkill who burned so many folks by taking thier deposits and never delivering thier trailer is still in partnership with Epik. Here is the EP add for Epik

My understanding is there are several Chinese mfg plants that make a very similar design as OBI, Black Series, Opus and MDC. I do believe that MDC uses a different MFGering plant then OBI. I know this plant sells what looks to be the same basic units as the MDC branded with different companies...
Wow this is awesome as I did not realize any were on the market yet. To be honest I thought this rig might be to good to be true. Is yours the first one sold? Is it the prototype or a true production model? I assume you just got it? I will check out your IG.
Spot on! My problem is my Lexus GX460 is so damn impressive with its off road abilities that I tend to push the limits. That said my Timbren 3500HD are perfect for me but they have limited travel so I drive very slow. Especially when "crawl control " is engaged.
This is hilarious and I agree with most of what your saying. All though I would not feel comfortable bouncing around going down a steep mountain rutted road on a lippart axel. Also the interior of the Elkhart builds remind me of a cheap 70's condo.
I doubt they would take my call. Most of my concerns other then weight don't really require any answers. If you read all the issues on the main Facebook page they never comment or in several cases even fix the issues on the newer rigs. Lots carry on to the TL.
Yes I hear you that's 3 times the cost of yours.
Not that I blame you but you probably didn't get through the whole video.
Back story is the guy is an overlander YT guy that mostly has Bronco followers. He bought a Mammoth HV and then sold it liklely because of rusting, leaking and aliment...
There is not doubt the Kimberley is liklely the best built of all on your list. To qoute ferris Buller " if you have the means I suggest you pick one up"
If you want more customization and do not want to pay two dealer markups plus shipping from AU I would go with Kingdom. Again contact...
The chassis is actually the most impressive aspect as it is beefy carbon steel. Although they don't even powder coat it. They have had the opportunity to call me out on my speculation that they are light on dry weight. My guess is they they don't include rack, ladder, spare tires, high jack...
I have not stepped in one either. Just thought since you posted this video that you were disagreeing with my concerns. One of which is the proclaimed dry weight of 2,900 pounds.
That is 700 pounds lighter then your NJstar.
I have not heard of any. Cruismaster suspension is tried and true in AU. All of Imperial Outdoors issues are on the shoulders of themselves and thier chassis builder i belive thier name is MS Trailer. They started from a fishhouse design and jumped into the off road market.
Kingdom Camping is a newer company and the owner Jamin is young but has worked in the industry from an early age.
If you search this forum for Treefarmer1 they have an extensive forum on thier kingdom. You will probably want to reach out to them on updates. They are full timers and very...
Not an owner of either rig. I would be very nervous with a 15k non refundable deposit. What happens if the build is delayed and you get tired of waiting? Do you know much about thier finance and experience building trailers? Did the just jump into this market?
The Pause is new as well but...
K9 have you ever weighed your tounge when fully loaded? I think if Fox installed Timbren SES bumper stops and was very conceincious on load she will be okay towing with runner.
Aaron may even be able to work with her to lighten the build up a bit.
