honestly my range rover never ever let me down even when it was all land rover under the hood. i put over 30k miles on before the change . i dont see where ppl get those unreliability ideas from.

Mark for me they are both the same i love them both, but as far as being more practical for overland use , hands down its 110 or better 130 . just look at that defender its screaming TAKE ME OUT TO PLAYYYY lol more comfort and same class offroad nothing beats classic range rovers ride.

since most rovers are diesel in Europe i will get a diesel and register as a diesel in calif, so even later i put ZO6 CORVETTE motor of 6.5 turbo i wont have to go true the system again. i will post here every step of the way

mark its not the best but its second after bmw z3 , haha hummer has one of the most amazing turning radus in trucks family , u know that. d130 in wagon style , i was next to fj40 with 130 inch base, it was real nice i could imagine the defender will be just awesome . also H3t alpha is sweet...

loll so your rover is auto and you are complaining ? oh nooooo going up the hard hill with one of the front tires in the air and one rear tire in the air and no lockers and stick shift? lol no thank you. ill take your automatic rover. over any stick shift . :)

its funny for example Hummer H1 in the book it says do not use your brakes during hard down hill, just put t case in low and trans in low, they are damn right about that 1or 2 mph is the speed, regardless of the grade and that's automatic trans.

David the reason i choose defender 130 is because the benefit of that 130 inch wheel base will be more than the down side . yes may be few tight spots it will have hard time, but in other ways it will be beneficial since most of the overland travel is not much hard core off-road. i never had...

rover will go on eBay hopefully to a good home. She was a gr8 friend for the passed 4 years . And I will miss her . I just wish from the beginning i would of got 130 and done 6.2 in that. But it's never to late =)
