I like your build! I think full size vehicles offer lots of different choices which make them great platforms for this. Of course they have some limitations too but what vehicle doesn't. Thanks for posting this.

Paul instead of drilling them and putting in new rivets you might try using a dremel to cut down the pin. I would be worried that the new rivets I put in might not be the same quality or fit perfectly. Maybe I'm being obtuse but a dremel might solve the problem. Just a thought.

With kids and dogs definitely get the yukon/suburban and of the two I'd say the burb is better. I got the yukon as it was my wife's dd. I would have preferred the burb but given the rear bumper damage that got inflicted probably just as well I didn't (don't let me wife see this thread....ha)...

The stuff looks good. I will say that the statements about "do not copy"/patents etc. is a little bit ironic. If they're made well I am sure they will do well with those prices.

I'll second rayra's comments- I think a little more info would be helpful. In general I think the key is how many people you travel with. Gear will fit in either but if you have 2 or 3 (or more) kids then the yukon/suburban route will be required. I have had very good luck with an 03 yukon but...

Well as RAFoutdoors suggested the easiest answer was the right answer. I called Reliance and asked if I could buy a pack of 5 vent plugs or whatever and the woman, who could not have been nicer, said she would be glad to mail me two and took down my mailing information. Definitely great service...
