Bumper, winch, and lights all installed …. Its been a long 2 days, but its all done. There was a lot modifying to get the winch to but it fits! Ill post details later on what I did to make it fit, but here are some pics for now.
Hey @David_411 ,
As a second follow up report for you, the EMS parts and install are amazing. The setup guide they send is top notch and all the parts are flawless and super beef. HIGHLY recommended as an alternative to Dynatrac.
Today ill be installing the winch and Thuren bumper. Got some cheap lights that I’ll install for the mean time as well. Ill circle back and get some nicer lights down the road, I have these cheap ones just sitting here so might as well give them a try. Ill post picture later today or early...
Well I finally got started on my axel. I ended up installing the center axel delete kit and installing locking hubs/free spin hubs. Love the way it turned out. A big thanks to Dylan and Hayden for helping me on this project. I learnt a lot working with these guys in my driveway :
So got the EMS parts in. SUPER happy with them. Very well made and beefy. The machining on the parts look outstanding. So far, EMS parts are excelling.
I sure will. I’ve been following EMS for awhile and spoke to 3 other people who wheel hard with their components and love them. I also called EMS and spoke to them awhile ago and they spent 30min on the phone with them. Super nice crew there.
Ill give feed back on the quality when the parts arrive.
Well, change is coming…
I just ordered Thurens new 2nd gen bumper with the winch cradle. (LINK)
I ordered the BadLand 12,000 lbs winch with synthetic line + wireless remote (LINK)
I ordered the last items from EMS off-road for my locking hub conversion kit (LINK)
I ordered (and already have) my...
Was a great time! Gunna head back out again next week. Found some other trails I want to go check out.
Also I have to make time to weld up rock sliders, do the CAD delete on the front axel (have all the parts), I need to replace my exhaust manifold, and I have some airbags to install in the...
Tis the season. Went back to Sedona last weekend with my brother. Had a great time mountain biking and 4wheeling. Ended up doing the Broken Arrow trail. Was an easy trail, but the views were the best part. Super fun.
This last weekend (a few days ago) we did Sonoita, AZ and Patagonia, AZ. Fun trip actually. The winerys down there are nice and a few craft beer joints also. Wheeled around in Gardner Canyon. So stuck. At lunch. Got unstuck. Played with with the dog. Chilled with the Wife. Low key trip - but...
During my trip we were camping in a private forest area. We had one other friend with us. I got up in the middle of the night to take a leak (pee bottle in the camper) and thought I saw our friend outside the Hiatus doing the same thing (he has a roof top tent). I thought I saw him about 20ft...
