Hey no worries I just bought a Toyota Sienna AWD and put a Journey Offroad 3 " lift with one size bigger tires. Love it full disclosure I am not towing my trailer with it but just wanted to make you feel welcome. So I believe (and you need to confirm this) that weight distribution hitches (wdh)...
I have a wired back up camera on my trailer but my new Lexus GX does not have a after market system to run camera to dash monitor. Don't really miss it. The only thing I used it for was to check my bikes on rear hitch. I never trusted it when backing up
They also say for " finance deals" only. Said finance is likely at a very high interest rate. If anyone is interested I would ask for price for cash. If one is considering financing with them might be best to bring your lawyer friend 😉
All said 80k for a 145 is very low. I assume it's stage one...
Hi hear you Mickey and maybe the best rule of thumb if you want a new off road trailer with very pricey components especially lithium and solar is if you can swing it w/o having to finance it.
I think the 80 % rule is good assuming one balances tow vehicle and trailer. The 80% should apply to all ratings separately especially tounge weight and cargo carrying capacity of tow vehicle. See so many rigs going down the road not level so hitch drop or rise is very important
Congrats! 25 k is a great price!! Some of these new off road rigs charge that for the battery bank and solar. You have tons more experience towing then I but just wondering if your Colorado has the 6,000 lb tow capacity rating?
