Had to take my Titan in for a recall check on the tires and got to see my first 22 Frontier. Looks great in person! Nice interior, good front end, nice and compact, solid visibility. Didn't drive it but if I was midsize shopping it looks like a solid all arounder.
Picked up a used topper for now until I get a more permanent solution. Needed something to tide me over since I sold my squaredrop.
Should be fun to build out the back for camping...
Thanks. So far I love it; the interior was a big selling point for me and the comfort is excellent. The ZR2 is a sweet truck but the fit and finish especially on the interior was downright terrible.
1 last trip with the trailer. Also added a best top to the truck but hated it so it's already headed back to Amazon. Picking up a used fiberglass topper today until I figure out a long term set up.
If I had stuck with a midsize vehicle I would have picked one of these up. The Nissan seems to be the best all arounder. I have the 9 speed in my TItan and it's a peach and pulled 21mpg on my last interstate run and 18mpg towing my teardrop. It won't sell as much as a Taco but given the horrible...
Considering purchasing a used FWC Swift Shell and installing it in my Nissan Titan with the 6' 7" bed. I would need to raise it up about 1.5" and plan on using foam. Seems like this would keep me well under payload (1400lbs) and allow me to leave the tailgate on while leaving a bit of room...
2019 Intech Flyer Chase with the offroad package, roof rack, 10 speed maxx air fan, grey interior. In great shape just moving to a topper camper now that i have a truck.

These are very very well built on an all aluminum frame/structure, R7 bubble...
1st trip is in the bag. Went out to Pearl Lake State Park in Colorado. All total about 400 miles round trip and managed an extremely impressive 18.1mpg while towing my Intech flyer chase (square drop). My GX pulled about 14mpg doing the same.
Update: Might as well keep with this thread. Replaced the 2020 Titan King Cab with a 2021 Titan XD.
After 3 silver SUVs in a row (Montero Sport 3.5xs, Lexus GX470, Lexus GX460), endless runs for landscaping/home stuff, and an elderly dog throwing up all over the 460 interior on a camping trip I...
