Who's running the BFG KO2's on their Hundy?

I put the KO2's on my 100 about 2 months ago, in 265/70R18, The size wasn't my first choice, but I didn't think I could make it thru the winter up here in New England without new tires, so I bought what was currently available. My preferred size wouldn't come out until May 2015... (My 100 is...

    Eurovan Blu.O (2.0)

You'll love that flooring. We have the Pirelli flooring in our Westy Sprinter, and it's been the most practical flooring I've ever owned. Sheds the snow and the sand and mud; we just sweep it out with a hand broom out the cargo door. Then I just spray some Simple Green on it, give a little...

    Samurai vs sidkick/tracker

I've towed my Sami plenty; I've just followed the factory manual. It recommends towing less than 200 miles at a time, then starting the engine to get everything lubed up again. I thought it was gonna be a hassle, but 200 miles is about where I gotta take a leak anyway, and the girls wanna...

    1988 Samurai Tin Top.

I did exactly the same thing with mine; it came with 31's on it, and SPOA. I went back to a SPUA, and put it on 29's. Mostly happy with it, although oddly enough, the steering is worse after going back to SPUA. Just haven't taken the time to sort it out... I really gotta get my tintop...

    1964 Unimog 404.1 Vehicle Build

So love this! I understand completely your philosophy... I have a 100 series Land Cruiser, and a Suzuki Samurai. Of the two, it's the Samurai that makes every trip an adventure. Yeah, it's slow. Yeah, it's only got 60 horses. Yeah, it's small. Yeah, it rides rough. But, it's got guts, and it'll...

1989 VW Synchro Diesel Westy hardtop on eBay

As featured on BaT this morning... http://www.ebay.com/itm/261631874830?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true Looks very clean and taken care of. I would imagine the hard top Club Joker version would be a bit more comfortable in the cooler weather, or where the wind howls...

Ford Expedition as an "Expedition" Vehicle?

For me, it's hard to say. I had an Expedition, and sold it to buy a 100. I'm a "off the beaten path" type as well, and I haven't done anything in my LC that my Expedition couldn't have handled with ease. But that's just me. (I sold the Expedition because it had 180K on it, I wore the tranny out...

    Suzuki Samurai for the trip?

Depends on what your definition of "adventure" is. Anybody can drive a posh Land Cruiser around the USA. And most of the time, your backsides will appreciate that. But doing it in a Sami, or on a couple of bikes? Now THAT'S an adventure... I have both of these vehicles. And what I dream about...
